7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

another early morning walk, this time in downtown Seattle on Sunday...

Halfway through my morning computer/FB routine, my body said:
make me a smoothie
I did
when I finished my computer stuff and did a quick newspaper look-see my body said:
go for a bike ride
I did

thank you body
thank you!

I did one of my loop rides today, over to the Green River and S to a small island kind of community just N of the Foster golf course, over to the E side of the River, and zig-zagging along the river back towards home. 5.37mil in 36min. Nice ride.

I like how my senses are heightened when I walk in the early morning dark. The colors, the reflections, the shadows, even the sounds...especially on a weekend when there are fewer people and less traffic.

sort of reminded me of a crime scene from Investigation ID...

Rode 10.8mi this morning, in a little over one hour. Easy, meandering kind of ride along the Green River Trail, then up the West side of Boeing Field, through Georgetown, back down south on the East side of Boeing, and back home.
One pledge I will try to keep this Winter is to ride my bike sometimes. It feels so good!

I played around with my telephoto lens this morning when I was walking in the early morning Georgetown dark. Since I'm partial to my Auto setting, and since I dislike carrying around a tripod, the results were so-so. My little Nikon digital, before I graduated to this Canon DSLR, took better low light shots. I still enjoyed this walk/shoot...

It feels so good to be out there walking again. This morning I parked just south of the Ft Dent Park here in Tukwila, walked over the small bridge south of the Sounders Practice fields, turned east and walked under the BN train tracks over towards the Black River area in Renton. One of my regular walk routes, it felt like I was getting together with an old friend...
I'll do some more editing soon, and post more photos. Here are a few from this morning:
