7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

Walking and biking...
Nice ride on Renton's Cedar River Trail in this morning. Rode out East aways and then doubled back, criss-crossed Renton and rejoined the Cedar River where it runs North between the Renton Airport and the Boeing 727 buildings. Rode out to the Kayak facility at the end on Lk Washington, where Andrea and I went kayaking last year. Took a short photo break. With my telephoto lens, you could see the clouded over Seattle skyline to my left, and over to the right was Bellevue.

Got a few other photos:

Looking forward to getting a Go-Pro next year. I'm planning on documenting all of my favorite walks and rides.

Friday was a 2-fer: a 40 minute walk while I waited for Les Schwab to check out my car, and then a long bike ride back home while they took care of things. One of my least favorite things is working on cars. I don't even change my oil anymore. Another least favorite thing is "paying" to get my car fixed. Oh well.

These photos were all taken on 12 April, during one of my "loop" walks (see earlier post). When I finally got around to editing these, I was surprised by all the different kinds of shots...

I'm continuing to find "keepers" from my walk on the 12th of April. (I'm way behind on my photo editing) It was one of my regular Loop walks, walking East and South from the Tukwila Community Center along the East side of the Green River, under the I-5 Overpass above the train tracks, to the non-island (blocked off on the East side where the road I walk is one lane and goes into a private company) just north of Foster Links, back North along the West side of the GR, past BECU and back over the bridge to the Community Center. A nice 30-40 minute walk. Anyway, I've been editing these piecemeal, and the green reflection photo I posted to FB yesterday was from that walk. The variety of different shots I got from that one walk surprised me. I'll do a post with my favorites when I have time, but here are a few more I just edited:

self-portraits:

below - the low angle of the morning sun on the alfalfa around my dark shadow produced and a bright glow around my head. My eyes caught it better than the camera's eye:
