I haven't walked along the river for awhile. It was overcast and cool the other morning, and the greens are transitioning to the oranges and browns of Winter. It won't be long before we get to the black lines of bare branches...

I was going to Share some other photos just now when I came across these in my general Photos folder: a photo with my siblings several years back, next to a a photo of some large wooden figures on the UW Bothell campus. Interesting juxtaposition... There are seven of us now, but I cropped the sculpture photo to include an eighth figure, for our brother Jimmy.

I get lost in my editing sometimes...

We walked East to the UW Bothell campus this morning, and back along the river...

From my FB Memories this morning: 9 years ago 5Sep2012 "I don't mind riding my bike in the rain sometimes. Bicycling in our beautiful green NW, with this amazing weather right now, is pure joy! No photo taking today. These images are from earlier rides and walks on the same route, south from the area where we live, along the Green River."

I got my better half out for an early morning walk today. Very nice. Since it was more of an exercise walk than a photo walk, I just clicked off some shots with my iPhone. The colors I got reminded me of the Kodachrome and Agfacolor slides I took in the 70s.

I've always liked the early morning shadows of trees showing on the opposite side of the river. The first photo, with more greens, was from one year ago today. The other photos were from my walk yesterday morning.
