The feeling I get when I'm looking at my photos and editing them is similar to when I was painting on canvas, or carving on wood. It's the same. It's a gut level kind of exploring, looking, creating? I had a Professor tell me once when he was critiquing a paper I wrote - "not very scholarly, but you've got a good eye". I don't know about the good eye, but I sure do enjoy the looking part, and playing with the images...
