7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

You can get a lot done when you get up at 2:15am. After my morning driving duties were done (we're a one car family), I returned home and read the newspaper, did my computer routine with my morning coffee, and went for a walk in the Black River Riparian Forest and Wetland in Renton. The lighting this morning was amazing and I'm sure I got some Keepers, but I won't have time to edit anything until later. Scratch that. I just peeked, and here's one shot. Fall is coming. Following my walk, I did some grocery shopping, and still got back home by 9am.

These shots were from a Kubota Gardens walk in July. They didn't make my first cut in editing I guess.

re Gruden - I sensed that there was someone behind me. I turned to look, and he got on my face.

A  few self portraits during the Seahawks game, with an encore by JR. The commercials were more fun than the game by the way. Credit goes to Photographer/Accomplice Teresa. JR was a little more focused on the game than my assistant and me.

I indulged myself in what seems like a long time this morning - after dropping off my better half at work, I returned home and poured another cup of coffee. I sat down by the fireplace with Neo the cat and read the morning newspaper. I did my morning computer routine - emails, banking ($%# Equifax!), meandered through FB a little (I Follow some very good photographers), and then I went for a nice walk down by Southcenter. I wanted to do a loop thing where I walked in concentric circles so I could get an interesting image with my Mapmywalk App, but I got confused when I got inside after walking the perimeter. A brisk 1.9 miles in 30 minutes, followed by a stop at Seafood City for some bananas...

I like visiting Mike, and walking down his hallway, taking pictures of pictures...

I took a bunch of photos of the photographs on Mike's walls when I visited him awhile back. These are three of my favorites. A woodcut I made of Mike as a kid from way back when, a collage of Mike's photos of my kitchen when I lived up on Lopez Island, and one of my favorite photos of Jimmy when the "4 boys" stayed overnight at my place when I was living in Fremont. ? - who took the photo of Jimmy?
