When my eyesight is cooperating, editing photos is one of my favorite things to do. This shot is from a recent walk when I took some photos with my iPhone. There can be beauty in the chaos sometimes, and I found these stained glass window like images when I was playing with my editing program.

The first photo is from 3 years ago, on 16May2021. It was in my FB Memories folder this morning. I took the second photo a few days ago. It's probably the same tree because my walking routes here in Bothell don't change that much.

Nice walk today, with blue skies and early morning sunshine filtering through the trees.

What I try to do when I'm on a photo walk is to capture what I'm "seeing" with my eyes. This walk was early in the morning the other day, and the sunlight was coming in at a low angle. The colors in these shots were the colors I was seeing.

There were a lot of bare branches when we got back from Cebu two months ago, the dark lines of Winter. The green leaves of Spring have taken over, but the cold is still here. It was in the low 40s when I walked this morning, and I'm still wearing my Winter clothes, in May! But the weather report tells us that it could get up into the 80s by this weekend. Yes!

I had to take the bus to Bellevue the other day, and since I arrived early, I walked over to their new Light Rail Station next door. My favorite part was the downstairs pedestrian entrance with it's overhead mosaic art like piece.

You can be our Servant - We picked up the twins from school last Wednesday. After they came out of their classrooms, we followed them and their kindergarten friends to a small wooded area just off the school playground. There were a few other Grandparents with us. The girls were busy playing one of their pretend whatever games when I walked over to pick their backpacks up off the ground. On the way back to sit down, one 6 yo looked up at me and and said "You can be our Servant"... :)

There's a creek alongside the trail I walk sometimes, and I like the blue colors of the sky reflecting in the water on nice days. The leaves of Spring are returning now, and my view of the creek is slowly disappearing. Life... The battery in my Canon took a break, and I took these photos with my iPhone.
