This year's xmas tree lighting, scheduled for last night, did not happen. They cancelled it. When I went to meet up with my wife, a torrential and windy downpour of rain had started. By the time we got back to our place, not far away, we were soaking wet :) Our umbrellas were useless. This was followed by one hell of a thunder and lightning show that I tried to photograph from our place, until I was told to close the shades because it was too scary! To be continued... If I knew what the hell I was doing, I could have just copied the video from my post from last year. I haven't seen any updates yet, but maybe they'll try again tonight.
