These photos were taken within a very short time, just before, and during a rain storm when we were at the Cebu Safari Park.

I like looking at trees, the green colors, and the black lines of the branches. The first two photos are from Cebu earlier this month, and the second two were taken here in Tukwila yesterday.

It was pouring down rain and I was walking down a boardwalk in Cebu's "Safari Adventure Park". I noticed what I thought were these strange dark growths(?) high up in some trees when I was walking down. On the way back, I saw this strange critter sitting on the ground. "Guineafowl" my son-in-law Ray tells me. Fat balloon like body and large gray feet, this guy didn't get up into a tree soon enough?

Yesterday was my first solo photo walk since early March. 54 degrees and overcast. I was thinking blah photos... One thing about Cebu - in spite of the oppressive heat and humidity at times, we had blue skies and puffy white clouds every day. We will not go back during their "Summer" months again, but I look forward to the wonderful lighting and colors for shooting photos when we return!
