in my FB Memories folder this morning, from 2017 and 2018

I was lining up my camera to catch the plane coming out of the clouds in the background but my camera autofocus caught the wires. That plane was the only one I'd seen in 4 months I think, with the only airport being out on Mactan Island. The lines of the wires and ropes holding the bamboo poles of the Bangka boat together caught my interest when I was editing.

Tops #4 - Looking down at the surrounding hills below Tops reminded me of images we get out of our airplane windows when we're approaching airports...

7:24am here in Cebu right now, 77F. 3:20pm in the Seattle area, 44F. I posted these tree photos 6 years ago, on 3Mar2018. It looks like I'll be sharing more images like these soon, since we're headed back there next week.

"Tops" #3 - The contractor crews are still working, getting it ready for the throngs of people who are already coming. Architecturally, with all the lines and curves...taking these photos was fun.

"Tops" #2 - Even before we went through the Lookout entryway, the shadows and silhouettes grabbed my attention...

"Tops" #1 - A few weeks ago, we went up to the newly renovated viewpoint "Tops" Lookout. Even though it was a misty morning, my plan was to take a photo of Tops from our place in Cebu, and then take one from there of Cebu City and our place. Tops is the dark rectangular shape on the mountain ridge just right of center in the first photo and our building is the large building just left of the tallest building in the center of the city photo. Those were blah photos, but I was surprised when I looked at the rest of the shots yesterday. There were a bunch of "keepers", and I've had fun editing.

Leaving and returning to Port was like a ballet of bamboo poles. Watching the different Bangka boatsmen pushing their long bamboo poles into the water, and pulling them back up and over to the opposite side like swordsmen was mesmerizing.

These first two tree photos were in my Memories folder this morning. I think they are nice partners to the trees photo I posted yesterday.
