I walked down to the Carbon Market with Inday this morning. It was about a 30 minute walk, and my job was to carry the vegetables and fruits she purchased as we meandered through the market. Carbon is pronounced "car-bone", and it's sort of like Pike Place Market. Just add in a larger area, way more people, more colors, jeepneys and other vehicles moving through...wonderful people watching! When we were all loaded up, we walked out to where it would be easier to catch one of the "Modern Jeepneys". They're sort of like mini buses, and I don't have to do my duck walk like I do when I get into one of the regular Jeepneys. With my photography days fading away, I've decided that I'm going to become a better "writer". I'm going to try anyway. Maybe I'll plug these words into an AI thingy and see what happens. One of our purchases was a fresh pineapple. I like watching the vendor trim and cut it, creating this spiral like sculpture. When we got home, I cut out the core and I diced it into tid-bit pieces. I then bagged it in a freezer bag and put it the freezer. A wonderful warm weather treat...
