It's often only a window of 5 minutes or so, when the sunrise is moving up through the clouds. The colors, lines and textures of the trees are kinetic art... These shots were just West of I-5, across from the Southcenter Mall, yesterday morning, with my little digital camera.

Well, this reminds me of the days when my computer and/or my computer skills would force me to lose/erase all of my data... I would have to reformat or upgrade, start all over again. I remember thinking then "ok, I can start with a clean slate..." I just returned from a nice walk where I was sure I had a bunch of "keepers", photos I could edit. I opened my battery SD card slot, and Nada. No card. Dumb, just like that stupid Wall of Individual 1. Oh well.

You miss things when you drive a car, or even when you're bicycling. I discovered this a block from my house recently. I will be adding a few books of my own...
