walking around in the Bothell fog this morning...

I think I found a replacement walk for my "Georgetown" photos, the area just north of Boeing Field in Seattle. Georgetown was my favorite photo walk choice when we lived in Tukwila. These are just a few shots from the day before yesterday: downtown "historic" Snohomish, a 22 minute drive N/NE from Bothell.

lines, shadows and textures...

"After decades underground, over 1/2 mile of Horse Creek is being daylighted through a new mixed-use urban neighborhood, as part of city of Bothell’s Downtown Revitalization Plan" - 2016. One of my many new walks in Bothell is the Horse Creek. It's bordered with black metal fencing, and it makes me think of a Zoo, but with plants and foliage inside. Going from the Bothell Library across the street from us, it meanders the half mile or so up to the McMenamins Anderson School Hotel, also very cool.
I've been taking photos of the creek during my walks to the grocery store.

If this place existed, and I knew about it when Nate was a toddler, it would have been one of our regular stops. One of my discoveries while walking around Kirkland the other day. I still have "Train Simulator" on my old computer I think, but I was too cheap back then to invest in the real world like controls shown here...

I wandered around downtown Kirkland for the first time yesterday. I did an hour long walk and photo shoot after I dropped off my cell phone to get the screen replaced. A few shots...

You bike or walk over the bridge (photo I posted earlier) and go down the Sammamish Trail, an early morning sun rewards you with all kinds of lines and colors and textures in the trees. I love trees!
