Thursday walk #2...

Miscellaneous shots from my walk yesterday. They said the new bridge is expected to open in January 2021. "The trail is currently open between Sammamish River Park and Blythe Park but the detour remains in effect at 102nd Ave. NE." I took the bridge photo yesterday, so maybe...

I enjoy the changes that come with our different seasons, and I like the beauty in that chaos. These leaves were blown onto the gravel path leading down by some apartments, leaving the path by their complex cleared of leaves. When I looked down at the wet leaves and gravel, I found these images...

 

I took this photo from the path on the other side of the swamp photos. Being Winter time, the brush and leaves have disappeared, and you can see the old river bridge (the new one in the Google Earth photo is still closed), and our home (upper left) with the tan colored tower. The Bothell Museum house with the blue color is on the left. My walk took me East through our little downtown, down over the regular traffic bridge on the right, along the path by the new bridge in waiting and the swamp, then up to the path and the letter "R" in "River Landing", where I took this photo with my zoom lens. I have to try out my new Pen-Tab graphics thingy. I could draw a line right on the aerial photo showing my walking route. Maybe next time.

Just a small, swampy area off the beaten path, yes? I see the lines of the branches, subtle colors, water, the reflections in the water...

One of my favorite times to shoot photos is on a foggy, Winter morning. I like the lines of the black and gray tree branches. Depending on how far they are from my camera lens, and how the fog is shifting, they're always changing...
