my walk yesterday morning, after the sun came out...looking up, and looking down

Bothell WA on an early, cold, Winter morning...

I was perusing my photos folders this morning, and I was thinking "it's time for some building or flower shots". I saw this black lines of winter photo, and I changed my mind.

Why do I take photos of mud puddles, wet leaves and tangled branches? I enjoy the editing of photos as much as I enjoy my walks. This photo of muddy leaves after a winter rain has many lines and shapes and colors. When I start playing with those things, it's sort of like looking through a telescope or something. Maybe it's just the Process, and it's fun...

I had an "Aha" moment when I saw this article. We were up in the building again where I posted the night reflection photos the other day. I was looking at the Light Rail construction across the way, and I was thinking "where is it going?" From our vantage point, it sort of just disappeared in the trees on the left side. Aha! They're digging a short tunnel under part of Bellevue, going out to Redmond and Microsoft.

 

Our new pedestrian bridge across the river opened two days ago, and I checked it out yesterday. Coming back over from the other side, I focused on the wood, and the wood grains. Love!!

The rain runoffs in marshy areas give me wonderful images, with interesting textures and darker colors...
