Cebu Transcentral Hwy to Balamban, and Toledo Naga Cebu roadtrip #2

We finally got out of the city on Wednesday. We rode an 18-20 person van from IT Park up through the mountains, over the Cebu Transcentral Hwy towards Balamban and the other coast. We stopped at the West 35 Eco Mountain Resort, walked through their gardens and ate lunch at their restaurant. Yummy! We then rode a motorcycle, Three of us including the driver, down into the town of Balamban. Another first for me. We then got on a bus that travelled down the coast to Toledo City. We headed S/W from there to the other coast and the city of Naga, and up through Talisay back to Cebu. Our different modes of transportation yesterday were Jeepneys, Motorcycles, Trisikad (pedal powered Tricycles as opposed to Motorcycles with small cabs), and a few different sizes of buses. I took about a million photographs...

At 8.5km long, the Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway will be the longest (and tallest) bridge in the Philippines when it opens this Spring. Seen through the SM Seaside Mall windows here, construction began before Covid was unleashed, and it will open for traffic near the end of the Pandemic, fingers crossed. The last three photos are of a large ice rink inside the Seaside Mall, one of the many, Many businesses still closed due to Covid (and Typhoon Odette).

There's an area on SM Seaside Mall's upper deck where there are glass enclosed spaces for restaurants and shops. Some were opened and running when we were here in 2018, but that was before Covid...

I took the free MyBus to the SM Seaside Mall yesterday...curves, lines and colors
