The 2 shots of a tree overgrown with vines were from a walk in 2017. The last 3 are a tree (maybe 2) along the road where I walk towards downtown Bothell. I always think about the tusks and bones of Mastodons when I walk by there. Or giant spiders? :) Also, this is one of the narrow parts of the roadway, where I trust that my bright yellow vest is seen by the motorists...

When I'm looking at images like this, trees and leaves..., I'm looking at the patterns, lines and colors. I see the leaves as small blotches of color, and I think about Expressionist paintings? Everything sort of blends together, and I push the shutter.

This is a post from 9 years ago, on 8Aug2014: Encouraged by John getting Mom downstairs yesterday, I asked her if she wanted to go for a drive. Score! We got out for a few minutes by Alki, but mostly we just drove around, and she told me several times how much she enjoyed it. We then went and picked up Inday from work. Even though mostly in the car, and only an hour and a half or so, she was ready for a nap when we got her back to St V. A nice afternoon...

Resin sculpture I made back in the 70s: 3.5 sq base and 5.5 tall. I found it recently, under the bathroom sink. No respect :) Again, a theme that has been with me since I was a kid: my right eye is a "lazy eye"...

This is one of several old buildings in the Landing Park here in Bothell. We've lived here for over 4 years, and I have yet to visit this little museum. I think it's open on Sundays from 1-4. This is my latest photo shoot where I'm peering through the windows. The early morning sunlight brings out the colors, and then... add in some window reflections.
