I ended up riding my bike this morning. I rode south from Bothell to Matthews Park along Lake Washington. The last photos are of my building's Bike room, inside, and outside.

I wanted to do a downtown Bellevue walk today, but it's a gray, dull morning. I decided to go through a folder of photos from a walk I made in May.

I had a very nice bike ride with brother Pat this morning: we rendezvoused at the Light Rail Station at UW, and rode North along the Burke Gilman trail to Matthews Park on Lk Washington. Nice ride. We stopped and had some Jamba Juice at University Village on the way back. I only took three photos. The Pano shot was from Matthews park. The other two shots were 1. the bench by Drumheller Fountain on campus, where I ate a croissant while waiting for Pat's train, and 2. the view I had looking North from there. The distant gray building in the center is Suzallo Library where I worked for several years a Long time ago. A beautiful day in the NW...

One of the best times to walk is after some rainfall in the morning. I walked the opposite direction on the boardwalk yesterday. 10-15 years ago, I liked to walk what I called "loop" walks, sometimes lasting a few hours, where I wouldn't pass by the same things twice. I realized over time that turning around and going in the opposite direction was an entirely different walk/perspective. This first photo today shows me coming out to the main path where I entered in my last boardwalk post.

Walking into that boardwalk area across the street can be a little dicey on a rainy day, but I like how the wood planks show off their character and individuality. It reminds me of my woodworking days, and how much I enjoyed oiling my finished boxes. That was my reward before I sold them.
