from 15Jul16 post - This morning in the NW was beautiful! Yes, we get a little rain here, but I'm happy this is my home. It seems like one of the lead stories in the evening news for the past few years has been the "inclement weather in large portions of our country": thunderstorms, floods, hail the size of golf balls, tornadoes... A certain political party in our country denies Global Warming? I wonder. The photo I'm posting is an old one, shot with one of my first little digital cameras. The vantage point is from a bridge over the Green River near where we live, and where I often walk. I've taken this shot hundreds of times over the years, and nature being what nature is, it's different every single time...
