Cebu, in B&W, from 4 years ago, posted 1Jun2018...

They are just now re-opening things at the Crown Regency Hotel next door, where these photos were taken in 2018. After after 2+? years of Covid, and then being hit by Typhoon Odette. I think the main business they were getting was the Covid Quarantine people, mostly OFWs (Overseas Foreign Workers). I looked down and saw hotel guests swimming in their swimming pool yesterday.

These photos were taken on 28May2018, just before, and during a rain storm when we were at the Cebu Safari Park.

We went to the latest resort in Cebu yesterday, the NUSTAR Resort and Casino out by the SM Seaside Mall. Not much open yet but for 3 restaurants, and their Casino if you want to give away some of your money. The chandeliers and other decor are nice...

Sad. Covid shut down a lot of Cebu, and then Typhoon Odette hit. These shots are from the viewing areas near the top of the CR Hotel in 2018. Club Ultima in Tower 2, between us and the CR Hotel, is like a mostly darkened ghost town in a tower. There are two businesses still open there, one being a Fitness Gym. Thinking positive.

Some eye problems have restricted my computer time recently, and that's one reason I'm doing more wood carving. The "Memories" tab on FB, posts made on this date over the years, is sort of fun, and it only takes a few minutes. These are from this morning:
