7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

A little Pictures Folders perusing and posting before my morning ride. From a walk through Georgetown on or around 6Jun. A lot of Gray:

My plan this morning was to go check out the new South Park Bridge, which is re-opening after 3 years on Monday morning. I rode up the E Marginal side along Boeing Field, over the 1st Ave S bridge, and back home through South Park and the Green River Trail. I rode through an old industrial area on the East side of the 1st Ave S bridge, and got a few building shots:

 from late May

I think I'll just plug-in/upload photos as I edit them, or when I'm sorting through my folders...

I parked at the Sea Tac Community Center this morning, planning to walk through the North Sea Tac Park. I did get in a walk eventually, but I walked into the Botanical Garden there first, and ended up getting some nice flower shots. It was a drizzly morning:

My very first blog entry,
from Dec 2008 (crlazlo2):
from some murals N of King Street Station on or about 26May14:

One problem with my Bike Riding remains. I don't want to stop riding. They always end up longer than I planned.
Today I rode N along the Green River Trail, and the up the W side of Boeing Field along E Marginal Way. I stayed on the West side of Marginal Way this time, with it's older sidewalks and blacktop back and forth zig-zagging over the train tracks, up to the 16th Ave Bridge. Then around the N end of Boeing and back S along the Perimeter Rd and Airport Way.
By the way, I want a GoPro camera...

Into day number 12? where I've walked or biked every day. Maybe this will become as routine/necessary as my daily meditations... I have fond memories of the "Ice Cream Lady" in Bellevue (Dad's label) She walked everyday, and most of the time we saw her, she had an ice cream cone in her hand.
Another special Walker for me was from this neighborhood. Phil was an old guy I wrote about in one of my earlier blogs. I would often see him during my early morning drives to work. Over time, his brisk walk turned to a shuffle, and later a cane appeared. The next step was his walker. Then, no more Phil.

Trying to find variety in my walks, today I walked up the hill from our house, down N past the Homeland Security building, over the Green River and back up Marginal Way S to home.

ps - I'm a month or two behind on my photo editing, and I will begin posting some of those shots soon.

I love the early morning light, and the fresh air of a new day. It's a little after 6am, and I need to walk. Sunlight is pouring into the living room. Neo has a front row seat.

My ride this morning covered over four of my regular Walking routes. The only non-loop part was along the Foster Golf Course on Interurban. Mostly just rode today. No stops for photos.
