Island Hopping water colors #1

Looking down into, and across the water during our island hopping trip, there were so many different colors and images during the day...

the Dales in Busay: even with the good food, amazing views and infinity pool, I still ended up taking photos of the foliage and plants in their gardens...

I took these photos the same day as the Sunset photos I posted 5 days ago, after I turned the camera back towards the park. The artificial lights were turned on at 6pm, after sunset, and they gave us a nice complement to the natural colors...

When we visited family in Talisay, I planned on going out to her garden and plants and shooting photos there first. They rivalled what we saw at the West 35 gardens. But I was distracted by her sheer curtains inside the house, with their filtered images of outside, the textures and colors...

The Temple of Leah #2

The collection of Leah Villa Albino-Adarna's is eclectic for sure. The art gallery also has a library and other valuable collectibles in addition to the large sculptures and vases.

The Temple of Leah, in the mountains of Busay above Cebu City, was built by Teodorico Adarna as a tribute to his late wife. An eclectic collection of artifacts she bought on her world travels are housed in it's different galleries...

I sat in the back of a Jeepney the other day, and I aimed my camera out the back as we travelled down to Fuente Osmena from the Housing Plaza area.

I like the lines and colors of the coconut tree leaves. Looking up, and focusing on the different patterns and colors brings out all kinds of images...

Gotta love a good sunset. I posted some sunrise and sunset photos taken from our place here when we arrived last November, but getting out by the water adds so much more. I took these when we visited relatives in Talisay last Saturday.

 

 

You could see the destruction Odette wrought when we visited the different islands. I like how many of the trees tell us "we're still here..."
