7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

Green River Trail walk #2 - I can not pass up trees and leaves with filtering morning sunshine...

Green River Trail walk - I walked with my brother along the Green River yesterday. Beautiful day, nice walk. This was actually a small lake on the other side of the Green River Trail. I was going to put on my telephoto lens, but the Heron decided he didn't want to stick around.

I posted the first photo 2 years ago, when I was walking in the Pioneer Square area. The fire escape in the distant alley made me think of the fire escape shots I took last week.

The Time's cover story today was about the Seattle Public Library opening. I took these photos when we were on our recent "Waterfront" walk, after we left that area and we were walking back up town. My shots were along the upper 5th Ave level. When you look at the interior shot in the Time's article, you can see how the lines and angles the Architect played with inside, continue outside of the structure.

My latest wood carving box, a pill-box? 2"x4x1 Power saws and belt sanders etc. were what I used before. This Slower cutting, carving and sanding by hand is much more gratifying. Our daughter gave me a Woodcraft store gift card for Fathers day and I'm going to get some special woods to play with soon.

Waterfront walk #4: I do love my trees and nature walks, but I also like our downtown buildings with their angles, colors, glass windows and reflections...
