7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

Sometimes I like walking up the main rode for the first part of my walk. That way I get some extra exercise before I cut over to the river for my walk back. That's when my camera usually appears. It was overcast, and a little cooler this morning. A nice change... The first 3 shots were along the roadway, and the last two were back down by the river.

I like the overpass between the Seahawks and Mariners Stadiums, and Chinatown, and I love public art...

I did a very un-cr thing yesterday: I walked in the middle of the day (I prefer the early morning hours). And it was on the weekend, a Sunday. I saw maybe 50-60 cyclists and the same number of walkers and runners during my walk. I'm not the "loner sob" that a buck sergeant called me once in the Army, but I do like shooting my trees and outdoors shots when I have less company. Also, everything is fresher, the temperature is cooler...and the colors and shadows are more vivid. Today, I walked South from the Wayne Golf Course and over the regular bridge. I turned East and walked up towards Blyth Park on the other side of the river. I ended my walk by going through the tunnel between the Blyth and Wayne Parks.

I walked by our little Historical Museum again yesterday, still closed, but they changed the window displays. Like!

I got out early again today, 6:30am, on a beautiful, sunny summer morning here in the NW. Of the 166 photos I took, I think I got a bunch of "keepers". Here are four of them. I'm picturing myself as and old and decrepit(er) person, with a Huge monitor someday, and I'm still going through my old photos folders and editing images. I love the walking, the trees and rivers and..., the shooting of photos, and going on my "walk" again with my photos, and editing...

I miss Hiking - these are from a post on 22Jul2016, on a hike with my brother Mike: "The Alpine Wilderness area is beautiful, but the hiking was difficult at times, mostly due to the rocky and tree root trail conditions; weather and water runoff stuff I guess. I remember wondering how many sprained ankles have happened here? At the same time, I loved the challenge. Sitting at our campsite at Trout Lake after we came back down from Copper Lake was heaven. The next to last photo is where the trail was large boulders that crossed a creek leading out to Copper Lake."

I walked North today, along Bothell Way NE. I usually don't walk that way because the space for "walkers" is a little dicey in places. But when we get to the Bark Park Inn, a Dog Hotel :), there's a nice wooden walkway we can use. I posted some photos of the boardwalk last year. See below. We're called the "Evergreen State" because there's a lot of green here.

I watched Bezos and his crew fly on the Blue Origin this morning. Yesterday, I rode the Amazon Streetcar from Westlake near their Headquarters' Spheres, down to N Lake Union. I took some window reflection photos during my ride. In the last shot, the Streetcar is blue-ish in color because it's in shadow I guess. Interesting. Complimentary colors.
