shadows on buildings...

There are days when I think "I'm getting a lot of Keepers" during a photo walk, photos that I will like enough to edit. Many of them end up sitting in different folders on my computer until I go back and review them later. Here are a few shots from my downtown photo walk in Bellevue last April. Catching up photos #1:

Nice bike ride this morning, 7 miles or so, riding down the Sammamish River to Woodinville, and back on the other side along E Riverside Drive. Overcast and cooler today, perfect for riding or walking.

When I was walking yesterday, I kept looking Into the bushes, and Up into the tree canopy. A lot of green, and so many patterns and textures...

They have some wonderful groundskeepers at the McMenamins here in Bothell. I took a bunch of flower/plant shots on my walk yesterday, but my favorite part was walking in and under some of the larger trees. Looking up through the branches and leaves, I watched the sun filtering through...

lines and colors...

Out with the old, in with the new.
I watched them put together the new pedestrian/bike bridge on a side street for the past month or so. They brought in a huge crane and placed it in the new position the other day, and I think it's scheduled to open at the end of August?
