7Dec2022 - crlazlo meanderings 2 is now 2.1 - I will continue to use it as a preview/workspace for my FB posts, but I will also start organizing the many photos from my retirement years, and also start a journal/memories thing. That's the plan anyway.

I had an "Aha" moment when I saw this article. We were up in the building again where I posted the night reflection photos the other day. I was looking at the Light Rail construction across the way, and I was thinking "where is it going?" From our vantage point, it sort of just disappeared in the trees on the left side. Aha! They're digging a short tunnel under part of Bellevue, going out to Redmond and Microsoft.

Our new pedestrian bridge across the river opened two days ago, and I checked it out yesterday. Coming back over from the other side, I focused on the wood, and the wood grains. Love!!

The rain runoffs in marshy areas give me wonderful images, with interesting textures and darker colors...

I'm not sure, but it seems like the blues in our Winter skies are bluer. Except for my icicle finger tips, I love walking and taking photos on this kind of day...

Having this park right across the street...I'm spoiled! Even on these colder, dark days. If at all possible, when we start snow-birding, I want to return to Bothell. Just waiting on Mr Covid. I call the park in the first two photos my "dead end park" because the public path ends by some private property down by the white building. If I walk left, and walk through the "Landing Park" with the small playground and Museum area, I go by the new pedestrian bridge. It's due to re-open any day now. My walk to the other side of the river will be shorter once again! Pumped!

Winter trees and fog...layers of black and white and gray lines...

It was super foggy along the river yesterday morning. When I looked down the river I thought I made out the shape of a person on the other bank, but I wasn't sure. When I was walking back, I took the shot with the blackberry bushes in the foreground and confirmed that it was a fisherman standing in the water with fishing pants. Whoa! My face was cold, and this guy was standing in the river.
