I've always liked the Chinese character stamps in old Chinese paintings. The flowing brush strokes of calligraphy art also, and the not knowing what Arabic lines mean...I've always just enjoyed the aesthetics of the characters. Reinholz in German means Clean or Pure, and Wood or Forest. I played with the idea of hanko stamps (personal seal stamps in Japan) yesterday, using these characters on one of my photographs...
